9:25 - 10:20 a.m. Common Mistakes When Using Herbicides & Update on New Bayer Products- Dr. Allan McGinty, Extension Range Specialist Emeritus

10:35 – 11:30 a.m. Targeting Weeds Using Chemical Applications & Herbicide Update- Charlcey Plummer, Dow Chemical

11:30 – 12:15 Managing Armyworms, Grasshoppers and the Bermuda Stem Maggot- Wizzie Brown, Extension Entomologist

12:15 – 1:00 p.m. Lunch (RSVP and pay by Aug. 7 to ensure an accurate meal count)

1:00 – 1:50 p.m. Beef Cattle Market Outlook- Dr. David Anderson, Extension Economist

Registration is $25 per person if paid by August 7 to the Bastrop County Extension Office at 901 Pecan Street in Bastrop. Late registration onsite is $30. Make checks or money orders payable to the Bastrop Ag. Fund (no cash will be accepted). This program is co-sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Bastrop & Travis Counties. Three hours of CEU credits (3 hours in IPM) will be offered to commercial, non-commercial and private pesticide applicators.
